A few hours before I boarded my flight to Australia for my Christmas holiday, I found myself in the Prime Minister’s office here in Rome, preparing for a portrait session with the dynamic Italian leader. As far as politicians go, Matteo Renzi is quite a charismatic man, and I thoroughly enjoyed this rather hasty photo session for the Financial Times.
