Lubriano Infiorata flower festival

The spring festival known as 'La Infiorata' In the town of Lubriano, 20 minutes south of Orvieto, in the region of Lazio. Millions of colourful flower petals are laid by hand into artistic tapestries of blooms, decorating the main street of the village. A procession follows over the colourful, perfumed asphalt, from the churches of San Giovanni Battista to the seventeenth-century Chapel of Santa Maria del Poggio.
